Scott Douglas Simpson
September 17, 1973 - October 6, 2006
Scott lost his life in an accident on October 6, 2006 in Ft. Worth, Texas. He
was a young man who was most happy outdoors, being passionate about the mountains and desert.
Among some of Scott's achievements are completing TCU's venerated Ranch Management
Program, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Equine Studies and a Masters of Agriculture from Sul Ross University in Alpine, Texas.
Scott was a dedicated student at Sul Ross University and
co-designed their new state of the art equine research facility while completing
his Masters Degree. The facility is complete and was dedicated on
April 26, 2008
Scott was charismatic, had a great sense of humor and embraced life with an enthusiasm that was an inspiration to people who knew him. Scott was revered
by everyone he touched.
Some of Scott's beliefs were to Honor Your Commitments, Put Family First, Respect Others,
Dream Big and Have Fun.
Scott's philosophy in life was simply to
"LIVE IT"
Scott Simpson Memorial Fund has raised over $4,000.00 Most to be used to help complete
the equine facilities at Sul Ross university.
Our thanks to all doners for your generosity.
The fund was successful and now this site is a memorial site only, dedicated to
Scotts memory.
